Senior electrical designer

Role:

Requirements analysis: Ability to analyze project/order technical specifications. Interfacing with customers, external/internal technical representatives, understanding project requirements.
Development of electrical and pneumatic diagrams: Creation of electrical diagrams relating to panels and on-board machines of automatic/automation machines. Creation of pneumatic schemes that are not too complex, relating to automatic machines.
Component selection: Good knowledge of electromechanical components for circuit/cable protection; Knowledge of electrical and electronic components common to the world of automation (drives, inverters, sensors, safety devices). Ability to choose the appropriate electrical components for the project, taking into account factors such as safety, energy efficiency and budget.
Collaboration: The work involves collaboration and communication between the various departments of the company, design, production, software and testing. Often in contact with production during the machine assembly phases.
Preparation of documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including drawings and specifications, to guide the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Testing and Verification: Participate in testing and verification of electrical systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with quality standards. Support technicians during the on-site installation phases of the machines.

Requirements:

Degree in technical field (Electrical/electronic).
Excellent knowledge of electrical/electronic components is required.
Excellent knowledge of 2D CAD for the design of functional electrical and wiring diagrams. (Knowledge of the IGE-XAO See Electrical Expert CAD is a Plus)
Knowledge of regulations and concepts related to machinery safety, ISO/EN 13849-1. Knowledge of circuit design principles and parts related to SRP/CS of automatic machines.
Knowledge of standards such as EN60204-1 (Knowledge of UL508A; NFPA79 is a plus)
Management of Bills of Materials (use of PLM and company management systems)
Ability to manage multiple projects is required.
Operational autonomy (naturally responding to the requests of the project technical office or PE manager)
good communication skills, I often work in contact with the production department,
flexibility and aptitude for problem solving.

The candidate must demonstrate previous experience in similar roles.
