Fakuma 2021 is approaching! The Campetella is team is looking forward to welcoming you at its Booth A7-7208, hall 7 and introducing you to the ultimate integration of IML and and Stack-Molding automation for the food packaging industry.
In addition to a selection of our well-known top-entry robots, you will have the chance to check out our latest products! Two fully automated stack-molding systems, with camera-based quality control and final stacking, performing IML applications on octa-round containers and lids and margarine tubs, respectively.
The centerpiece of the first system is our side-entry Modula Maxi Twin X-Series, designed for IML stack-molding applications with IMM up to 12.000 kN clamping force. Solid ground base, ultra-light moving parts and powerful servomotors outline its construction philosophy, aimed at maximum productivity.
More productivity in less space. This is the greatest benefit brought by the synchronized production of both containers and lids in a unique 2-level 4+4 cavity stack mold. A process that would normally require two separate IMMs, molds and automations. Two label magazines, one for the containers (5-sided label) and one for the lids (flat label), are featured with a full-servo technology that makes them fast, precise and energy saver. They also include an innovative sliding rotating table that reduces the systems’ footprint on the ground, cycle time and thus its energy consumptions.
The machinery is also equipped with a camera-based quality control system, responsible for rejecting the only non-compliant parts by air blows.
Finally, the system is completed with a SCARA SPIN-2 X-Series with a dedicated EOAT, in charge of picking and aligning the parts before depositing them on the conveyor belt in ordered piles.
Next to it, a sophisticated packaging application run by another absolute novelty just released by Campetella: the Modula W X-Series, a side-entry robot born to double your productivity thanks to its innovative "W" structure. Our product development team has been focusing on the shared ever-growing need to increase the production systems’ efficiency in the food-packaging industry. Minimizing footprint on the ground while maximizing productivity. This is what we were able to achieve by creating this new Modula. Its main transversal axis, located on the upper side of the robot, make it possible for the discharge conveyor to be placed at the bottom. A compact axis located above the belt then overturns the containers with the opening downwards to ensure maximum hygiene. This system too is equipped with a camera-based vision inspection and quality control and a SCARA SPIN-2 X-Series in charge of stacking the compliant parts and depositing them in two ordered rows on the conveyor belt.
What you see is what you get: all-in-one solutions designed to meet your most demanding production needs.
