Among the best practices adopted by Campetella Robotic Center to promote environmental sustainability there is also the recovery and use of previously recycled and, in turn, recyclable packaging.
At Campetella we pay deep attention to our partners’ qualification and packaging suppliers are certainly no exception. Among the selection criteria, the use of partially recovered packaging material.
Furthermore, in order to avoid unnecessary waste, we only use the packaging material that is considered strictly necessary to export our goods.
Campetella is a member of CONAI (National Packaging Consortium), whose mission is to promote the use of sustainable and recyclable packaging material and to encourage a proper waste management and disposal. In order to be considered recyclable, the packaging needs to meet the criteria of eligibility for existing recycling technologies, in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 13430 technical standard.
We also care about biodiversity. In fact, we make sure that all wooden packaging exported outside the EU complies with the international standard for phytosanitary measures number 15 (ISPM 15 FAO), according to which all wooden packaging headed towards non-EU destinations must undergo heat treatment (HT) so as to be completely sterilized. Campetella have such packaging undergo a rigorous quality control, including both paperwork such as the supplier's certificate and on-the-spot inspections to make sure it shows the proper mark.
